Outside of the usual Child Benefit, which is paid automatically, there are some benefits specifically targeted to the cost of childcare.

These are government funded schemes where funding goes directly to the childcare provider. This in turn allows them to offer free and extremely well-subsidised childcare places. See our ECCE & NCS » page for more information.

Children spend a lot of time outdoors regardless of the weather as we have an All Weather Outdoor Play area, which children can use even on rainy days. Typically a child attending our full daycare program will have no less than three outdoor sessions during the course of the day.

No, all meals are provided. The Montessori-only pupils, who attend from 8:50am to 11:50am and 9:00am to 12:00pm, may bring a small midmorning snack. Otherwise, all meals, including snacks, are provided.

We place great importance on maintaining positive behaviour within our service. Our staff are highly trained in this area, helping children to learn mutual respect and understand how to make good choices. We have an extensive behaviour management policy which all staff use to inform their practice, in helping to create a calm and caring environment where every child can thrive. (Please see Policies and Procedures for full Behaviour Management Policy)

Not at all. As a manager I feel extremely lucky to have been able to retain the same team since opening our doors in 2004. Apart from recruiting some new members of staff in recent years, our team has remained unchanged. I value greatly this continuity of care as I feel it’s so important for children to be able to develop a trusting relationship with their carers.
